Founded in New Orleans in 2018, Batture & Bloom makes headwear inspired by the landscapes, culture, and everyday rhythms of the Gulf South.

Behind the Name
The batture is the land between the river and the levee, shaped by the Mississippi as it rises and falls. Bloom comes from the star jasmine that flowers each spring, filling the air and ushering in festival season.
Together, they capture two familiar parts of life here: the river that shapes our landscape and the bloom that signals some of our favorite days are ahead.
That sense of place runs through everything we make—from the colors and details to the easy feeling of a hat you reach for on your way out the door.
